DR. SHAFEENA PREMJI
MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Hi, my name is Dr. Shafeena Premji! I was born in Toronto, Ontario and moved to Calgary when I was 8. I obtained a Masters of Health Administration Degree from the University of British Columbia in 2007. I completed medical school at the University of Calgary and then pursued and completed my residency training and Women's Health fellowship at Queens University.

In 2015, I received my North American Menopause Society (NAMS) menopause certification and currently sit on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Menopause Society.
In 2019, I was honoured with the prestigious award and recipient of Avenue Magazine's Top 40 under 40 for my service to Women's Health. I have a keen passion for all aspects of women's health - pre-conception through child bearing years and into menopause. I thoroughly enjoy following patients through their pregnancy, labour and delivery at South Health Campus, and postpartum.
As the owner of Mahogany Medical Clinic, my aspiration for the clinic is that we will grow with our patients and their families over the years and remain committed to providing excellence in every aspect of patient care.
DR. MICHELLE CHOW
BSC (Hons), MD, CCFP, NCMP
Hello, my name is Dr. Michelle Chow! I was born and raised in Calgary and completed my medical degree at the University of Calgary in 2009.

I initially trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and then went on to complete
a residency in Family Medicine in May 2017.
I currently work in general practice and as a low risk obstetrics provider.
I have a passion for women’s health and I am excited to be joining the Mahogany Medical clinic team.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking the Rocky Mountains, skiing and I am an avid world traveler.
DR. JEANINE JENSEN
MD, CCFP
Hello, my name is Dr. Jeanine Jensen. I was born and raised in Regina, SK and completed medical school in my home province. I moved to Calgary in 2013 where I completed my family medicine residency and fell in love with the city. My work for the past three years has focused on family practice, maternity care, labour & delivery, breastfeeding support and bladder/pelvic floor sub specialization.
My husband Jared and I recently built our first home in 2017. We love cooking and entertaining, and spending time with our two cats Shiro & Sora. Jared and I are avid travelers – some of our favourite places we have visited being South Africa and France. I also love summers back in SK where I enjoy camping, fishing and boating with my family. In my spare time, I can be found taking cooking classes, learning about wine, curling and socializing with good friends.
I am excited to have the opportunity to join the Mahogany Medical Clinic team and work with such a talented & devoted group of people.
DR. CHRISTA KLAPKO
MD, CCFP
Hello, my name is Dr. Christa Klapko! I am a born and raised Calgarian. I did my undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Lethbridge, then I headed up north to Edmonton for Medical School at the University of Alberta. I was lucky to come home for my family medicine residency training through the University of Calgary.
I have a wonderful, supportive husband and two beautiful children that keep us occupied during most of our free time! We also have a senior dog we love named Lola. I love to travel with my family, most often to the desert oasis of Palm Springs and Phoenix.
In the summer you can find my family and I at the Shuswap, enjoying cabin time filled with boating and a variety of water sports. It has been my dream to be a family doctor building my own practice, and I am very excited to be joining wonderful colleagues at Mahogany Medical Clinic!
DR. MHAIRI MITCHELL
MBChB, CCFP
Hi, my name is Dr. Mhairi Mitchell! I was born and raised in Aberdeen, Scotland. I obtained my undergraduate degree in physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and completed medical school at the University of Aberdeen before immigrating to Canada in 2016 with my husband. I completed my family medicine residency at the University of Calgary in 2020 and am excited to be joining the amazing team at Mahogany Medical Clinic.
I enjoy getting to know my patients and all aspects of family medicine practice, particularly paediatrics, mental health and preventive medicine.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends, family and dog. Most weekends I can be found outdoors, hiking or paddleboarding in summer and skiing in winter.
DR. CRAIG GRADWELL
MBChB, CCFP
Hello, my name is Dr. Craig Gradwell! I was born and raised in South Africa, and completed my medical degree at the University of Cape Town. My wife and I immigrated to Alberta, Canada at the end of 2015. When I arrived in Canada, I worked in Barrhead, Alberta, as a Family Physician as well as in the Emergency department for four years before deciding to move to Calgary to focus solely on Family Medicine.
I currently work in general practice and I have a passion for preventative medicine and health education. I am especially interested in the treatment and prevention of complex chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart diseases; however, I maintain a broad scope of practice.
Most weekends you will find me and my family going for long walks, enjoying brunches and spending quality time with friends. We also enjoy travelling to new places and our favourite destinations to date have been Paris and the English countryside.
I am very excited to be joining wonderful colleagues at Mahogany Medical Clinic!
DR. SHEENA KATIGEMA

Hello, my name is Dr. Sheena Katigema. I was born and raised in Calgary before moving to Montreal for 4 years to complete my Bachelor’s of Science at McGill University. After undergrad, I returned to Calgary to complete medical school, and then I moved to Edmonton to complete my Family Medicine Residency.
I am very excited to be back in my hometown and near my family once again. When I am not working, you can find me dancing, reading or spending time with my loved ones.
I have a special interest in full scope family medicine, maternity care, and reproductive health care of all kinds! I am so excited to join the fantastic team at Mahogany Medical Clinic

HANNAH BECKER
PRIMARY CARE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (PCBH) PROVIDER
Hannah obtained her Nursing degree while in a bridging program from University of New Brunswick in 2018 after working as an LPN for four years, and completed a focused practicum in Emergency Medicine. She joined the Primary Care Behavioral Health team in October 2023 with prior experience in Emergency Medicine and Community Outreach Nursing in Calgary.
She has extensive experience in the areas of outpatient mental health and substance use disorders. Hannah is looking forward to contributing to the implementation of the patients' medical home through team-based interactions, primary prevention, and application of population-based health approaches at the clinic level.

Hello, my name is Vishal Dodiya. I was born and raised in London, UK, and made Calgary my home in the summer of 2015. With a creative background and over 18 years of experience in corporate leadership, I’ve had the privilege of working in project management, corporate communications, brand management, marketing, and sales.
What I enjoy most is building meaningful, long-lasting relationships — something I’ve been fortunate to do in both corporate and retail settings.
I’m truly excited to bring my skills and experience to my role as Clinic Manager at Mahogany Medical Clinic, and I look forward to supporting our patients, physicians, and team in creating a welcoming and patient-focused environment.
